Sage is Hiring a Director of Product- Construction and Real Estate Strategy Near Atlanta, GA
Job Description We are searching for a highly motivated Director of Construction and Real Estate Strategy. As a Product Strategy leader, you will help drive the strategic direction, definition, and evangelism of whole product solutions that fuel the growth and overall business success of the Construction and Real Estate business unit. Whole Product Strategy: Drive definition of comprehensive strategic solution maps for your target markets based on deep understanding of market trends, emerging technologies, partner ISVs, competition, customers, and current product portfolio. Strategic product partnerships: Prioritize, identify, and establish strategic product partnerships working with business development/partner mgmt./corporate development. teams to define, execute and deliver win/win relationships and joint solutions that increase revenues, increase win rates, increase product adoption/stickiness. Voice of market – sales, competitors, partners, customers: Represent voice of market and work with product management and engineering teams to optimize roadmap priorities and tradeoffs across product portfolio. Product Evangelism: Effectively evangelize Sage and our products, both internally and externally and establish yourself as a thought leader and deep domain expert for your market and product portfolio. Work with marketing teams to refine messaging/positioning, sales tools, and other content. Work with GTM teams to develop and deliver sales training. Support sales/partners on key strategic deals. Represent Sage and our products in various speaking opportunities and events. Qualifications:
Construction and real-estate market domain expertise including in depth knowledge of the diverse types of businesses in construction (e.g. general contractors, sub/specialty contractors, real-estate developers/owners, residential construction, civil/horizontal construction). Construction expertise in regions outside of the USA is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, construction, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
Proven experience in a leadership role within the software industry, with a strong track record of achieving business objectives.
Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills specific to software products.
Strong financial / business acumen.
In-depth knowledge of software industry trends and emerging technologies.
Ability to evaluate products strengths/weaknesses – as competitor or as partner that fits into whole product solution map
Ability to deliver compelling product demos that highlight strengths as well as handle objections/questions
Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
