Sagent is Hiring an Electronics Technician I - 2nd Shift Near Whiteland, IN

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Under the general direction of the Production Supervisor, the Electronics Technician I primary role is to ensure efficient and quality-driven processes, contributing to the overall success of obtaining production forecasts in the clean and screen operation. This position utilizes entry level experience, skills and knowledge in the electronics testing industry.
SHIFT INFORMATION: 2nd Shift, M-F, 2:30pm-11pm (flexibility may be required depending on business needs, including training schedule)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct tests to verify functionality and performance.
  • Address simple testing issues to maintain product volume output and integrity.
  • Perform cosmetic cleaning or part replacement when needed.
  • Multitasking by operating multiple test platforms and test units at the same time.
  • Cross train in other areas of the clean and screen operation as assigned.
  • Collaborate with experienced personnel for professional development.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Basic understanding of electronics a plus.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use functional and situational reasoning
  • Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Should possess strong computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to be flexible with job duties and scope of work
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks to completion
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderately heavy objects (20 to 50 pounds)
  • Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling of boxes, as well as frequent movement (walking) throughout facility.
  • Standing or Sitting for long periods of time (some positions are standing only, some are sitting only positions)
  • Access information on the computer
  • This position is not able to work remotely.
