Position Overview:
Administration of the facility functions of the University, reports to and is accountable to the Vice President for Business and Finance.
Major Responsibilities:
Administration of University business-related activities including:
· Management of Auxiliary Service
a. Campus Event Services
b. Maintains Tenant/Apartment Services
1. Management of apartment and off campus property rentals including receiving applications, showing rental units, entering work orders, monthly billing, check-out and check-in of tenants.
· Management of Contracted Services
a. Campus Facility Maintenance & Custodial - Primary contact for Contracted Service. Reconcile monthly billings, manage expense, and approve routine maintenance.
· Management of Construction Projects
· Coordination of proposed projects for capital spending for the President’s Cabinet
· Maintains Campus Signage
· Maintains Asset Inventory and Repairs
· Maintains vehicle purchases, inventory, maintenance approvals, and assures that registration and insurance records are properly maintained in accordance with state and federal laws.
· Assists with University insurance review and verification of vehicle inventory.
· Maintains University energy services systems, HVAC controls.
· Manages the development and maintenance of the University’s Environmental Management System and other environmental programs.
· Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:

A. Professional:
· A four-year degree or three years’ experience in facility management and/or business.
· Previous customer service experience is preferred.
B. Personal:
- Have flexibility and discretion when dealing with customers and coworkers.
- High level of competence and administrative ability.
- Must be able to work with constant interruptions.
- Must be able to handle difficult situations.
- High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
- Sensitivity for the spiritual and educational environmental elements which distinguish the University from other enterprises.
- Must be able to proficiently use Office products: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Must be able to operate software/systems necessary for Facility Requests, Adobe Sign, and HVAC Controls.
Other Requirements:
· Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
