TITLE: GROUNDSKEEPER
WORK SCHEDULE: 12- month
SALARY CLASSIFICATION: Support Staff Salary Schedule - Group B
- $14.50
Essential Functions
- Installs and repairs irrigation systems;
- Mows and trims grass;
- Cares for all grass, trees, plants and flowers;
- Repairs and maintains grounds equipment;
- Conducts safety inspections of playground equipment, repairs as needed;
- Removes debris from drives, parking lots, sidewalks and other areas as required;
- Removes grounds trash and litter;
- Prepares athletic fields for events;
- Maintains swimming pool, including water chemistry;
- Performs minor maintenance duties as assigned;
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred;
- One year of experience preferred;
- Ability to communicate and work well with staff;
- Possession of a valid Arizona driver's license
