Description
SAIC has an opening for a Deputy Program Manager. This is a remote position that can be worked from any location in the U.S.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Serves as a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for a portfolio of programs being executed under the Military Intelligence Support Services (MISS) Task Order.
- Provide project manager support to the Senior Program Manager by providing analysis and reporting support.
- Analyze and develop weekly and monthly project reports for various projects within the Senior Program Manager's portfolio.
- Support the financial review and forecast of project activities over various projects within the Senior Program Manager's portfolio.
- Manage and integrate activities with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
- Applies an expert knowledge of management concepts, principles, analytical and evaluative methods, and practices to determine the effectiveness of projects or operations in meeting established goals and objectives and analyzes project performance data to identify issues and make recommendations for project and process improvement.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more of related experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more of related experience.
- Knowledge of management techniques and skills sufficient to ensure an integrative approach toward keeping a project on time, budget, and schedule.
- Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Possesses leadership and management skills.

- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
- ITIL V4 Foundation Certification
- DevOps Foundations Certification
- ServiceNow IT Service Management Accreditation
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
