DescriptionSAIC is seeking a General Clerk to provide support at the SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs.
Job Duties
- Provides support in arranging materials, products and develop procurement documentation including; completion, scanning, archiving, and management of procurement records and transportation/transfer requests.
- Interfaces with vendors to obtain quotes and update Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory,
- Interfaces with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates, attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items.
- Develops MS Excel procurement tracking documentation; supports the shipping & receiving area if needed; and develops project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, and organize documents.
- High School Diploma
- Ability to acquire SECRET clearance
- MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Detail oriented and organized
- Quick learner and proactive
- Ability to manage logistical issues
- DoD experience.
- Procurement experience
- Ability to work with databases.
Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
