SAIC has an opening for a Systems Engineer Senior Principal Newport, RI.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Senior Systems engineer experienced with underwater devices.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing support for research projects sponsored by the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
• The candidate will be required to review project plans and provide support to the Technical Program Manager (TPM).
• Significant experience in undersea weapons, naval strategy undersea defense is required.
• An understanding of modeling and simulation as it relates to undersea defense is required.
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team environment is required.
• The candidate should possess a Masters in an engineering field and at least 20 years of relevant experience working with underwater technology.
• Significant experience in undersea weapons, naval strategy undersea defense is required.
