The Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) is the principal staff element of the Secretary of Defense in the exercise of policy development, planning, resource management, and program evaluation. The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness (ASD-R) is pivotal in ensuring our armed forces maintain a high level of readiness for all operations. The ASD-R Front Office is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to lead strategic engagements, communications, and branding efforts that resonate with internal and external stakeholders.
As a Strategic Communications Specialist supporting the ASD-R Front Office, you will be the primary point of contact for strategic engagements, crafting communication strategies, and overseeing our branding initiatives. Your role is critical in shaping the narrative around military readiness and ensuring our messages are consistent, timely, and impactful. We are looking for an individual with a profound understanding of the military landscape and an ability to communicate complex information effectively. Location of work is Washington, DC.
