DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our electronic records management system and software tools at United States Marshals Service in Arlington, Virginia. The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization's electronic records management system. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring and maintaining the electronic records management system and associated tool, servers, and network devices; troubleshooting technical problems; and providing support to users. The Systems Administrator must also have a strong understanding of security principles and practices and be able to implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
Secret Clearance RequiredEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain enterprise content management systems (ECM) such as OpenText ECM and Laserfiche.
- Configure and maintain software tools such as Jira, and GitLab.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and provide support to users.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
- Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
- Work with vendors to install and configure hardware and software.
- Document system configurations and procedures.
- Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years related experience; Master’s degree and 3 years related experience. Additional experience in lieu of a degree.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to obtain DOJ Public Trust prior to starting.
- Experience with Jira, GitHub and other software tools.
- Experience in configuration management and access configuration.
- Knowledge of electronic records management systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with electronic records management systems.
- Experience with OpenText ECM.
Covid Policy SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
