Description

SAIC has an immediate need for a Training Analyst in Newport, RI who will work wit stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture the client’s training needs and advise them on the right learning solution to help them accomplish their mission. The candidate will be instrumental in developing curriculum that adheres to Navy ISD principles required to Plan, Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate. (PADDIE)

Job Description

  • Conduct Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) and Front-End Analysis (FEA) workshops to Identify learning objectives, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver content including consulting with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps and content requirements.
  • Develop instructional materials (Training Project Plans (TPP), Course Training Task Lists (CTTL), and Training Course Control Documents (TCCD), PowerPoint lectures, trainees guides, audio and video scripts, story boards, tests, etc.) that transform technical information into professionally written, engaging instruction.
  • Work on a team to assess, design, develop, pilot, implement, and evaluate training for an adult, professional audience.
  • Integrate formative assessment to include checklists, rubrics, and quizzes throughout the course design, both to ensure that learners are able to track their progress and that instructional staff are able to measure the extent to which learning is progressing as intended.
  • Identify program training gaps based on attendee feedback and engagement, program effectiveness evaluations, and process reviews.
  • Manage attendance lists, Q&A follow ups, project evaluations, and communicating relevant information to internal stakeholders.
  • Create content that has clear measurable objectives that are in alignment with the methods used in instruction.
  • Create content that is engaging and fully follows the principles of experiential learning or other interactive methods of instruction.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of relevant exprience
  • 3 years experience in a training development position
  • Experience with Navy training and/or Navy Schoolhouse training programs
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Navy Content Planning Module (CPM)
  • Familiarity with Navy Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM)
  • US DoD Secret Security Clearance
