Job Title: Enterprise QA, Data & Automation Engineer

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Job Duration: 06 Months Contract To Hire

Primary Skills:

• SQL & Data Analysis: Very strong SQL, AWS Athena, Data Pipelines, and data analysis skills.
• Automation Scripting: Development of automation scripts in JavaScript and Java.
• Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Karate.
• Agile & CI/CD: Experience in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with Azure, CI/CD, Java, JavaScript, and Git.
• Microservices Testing: Essential skills in testing microservices.
• AI Testing: Experience in AI Testing is a significant plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java and JavaScript programming for building test scripts within Java and JS-based frameworks.
• Ownership & Initiative: Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative.
• Agile Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
• Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Analytical Mindset: Possess strong analytical skills and a QA mindset capable of identifying issues in robust software.

• Performance Testing (Optional): Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and K6 is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Data & Business Understanding: Support data-intensive projects, visualizations, reports, dashboards, and automation projects, ensuring an understanding of data and its value.
• Automation Development: Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript and Java automation frameworks.
• Advanced SQL & Microservices Testing: Utilize advanced SQL querying and perform microservices testing.
• Framework Utilization: Employ automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Karate to enhance testing processes.
• Agile Practices: Implement and contribute to Azure, CI/CD, Java, JavaScript, and Git integration.
• Test Strategy & Planning: Define test strategies, test plans, and test scripts, incorporating best testing practices.
• SDLC Quality: Establish and enforce engineering quality processes and deliverables across the SDLC, including templates, checklists, and tools for test management, defect tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
• Collaboration & Prioritization: Work with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize test cases, ensuring alignment with sprint and automation goals for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to the QA Lead and QA Manager on testing progress.
• Operational Readiness: Perform test readiness and operational readiness review activities.
