Many of the technology projects handled by our information technology division impact the ways SAIF serves our more than 50,000 customers on a minute-to-minute basis. Our IT team is seeking a project manager to ensure technology projects are executed efficiently, with repeatability and accuracy.
Responsible for developing project plans and defining scope, schedule, and budget in collaboration with leaders, our new project manager will oversee projects from their blueprint phase to completion (and sometimes longer to measure success). You’ll look at projects with a strategic lens to ensure they align with company goals. You’ll communicate frequently with stakeholders throughout the company — often at the executive level — so strong verbal and written communication are a must.
Project manager duties are diverse. You’ll work on multiple projects with varying complexity with various teams. You’ll need a solid understanding of what it takes to usher new technology into an organization, with a focus on solid project management principles and a flexible approach to be successful. Your role will include building relationships, helping assign resources and tools based on your research, maintaining schedules, and evaluating success.
If you’d like to take on these responsibilities and make a difference to our customers as our new project manager, apply today.
NOTE: This position will have the opportunity to work from home frequently with occasional meetings in our Salem office.
