Lead Bartender

Sailfish Brewing Company is seeking a motivated and skilled Lead Bartender to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on teamwork and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a lively and dynamic atmosphere.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of beer, spirits, and cocktails.
• Experience in bartending, including crafting cocktails and serving beer.
• Familiarity with operating point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to guests, including pouring beer, crafting cocktails, and serving food at tables.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our beer, cocktail offerings, and food menu to engage guests and enhance their experience.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, taproom, and workstations after service.
• Restock bar supplies, inventory, and merchandise areas as needed.

Leadership Responsibilities (When Leading a Shift):

• Ensure all bartenders deliver exceptional service and meet company standards.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively, assigning bartenders to sections and roles during shifts.
• Address guest concerns and ensure all patrons receive proper attention and interaction.
• Manage cash handling, including counting drawers and preparing deposits at the end of the shift.
• Oversee the preparation of menus and ensure all bar-related materials are accurate and available.
• Close and secure the taproom at the end of the day.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
