Employment Type:Part time Shift:Rotating Shift Description:Unit CoordinatorDepartment: Courtyard East – this unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients as well as Chronic Head Pain patients. This unit has 42 beds and specializes in surgical post-operative care, telemetry, stroke, chronic pain management and patient education. Location: Chelsea, MI hospital Minimum pay rate: $15.46/hr based upon applicable on the job patient care experience Position Purpose: The Unit Coordinator/Secretary is responsible for a variety of activities involving clerical support, obtaining requested medical records by the medical team, and providing support to patients and staff in the unit Shifts Available: Weekend coverage Status Available: Contingent Three shift per month requirement Required Qualifications
Minimum of high school education
Recent unit secretary experience preferred
Medical terminology preferred
