Job DescriptionWe are hiring a full time Licensed Practical Nurse for our Primary Care - Perryman Clinic at the Plaza.
The ScheduleThis is a Monday through Friday day shift position.
The WorkLPN will assist with patient phone calls, procedures, rooming, and various administrative tasks as needed (ex: prior auths, RX refills, etc).

The ScheduleThis is a Monday through Friday day shift position.
The WorkLPN will assist with patient phone calls, procedures, rooming, and various administrative tasks as needed (ex: prior auths, RX refills, etc).
- You will be working with a variety of providers and their patients, working in a blended role.
- Provides phone triage, assisting with rooming patients, downloading blood glucose meters and pumps, and educating patients on injectable medicines and glucose meters.
- Because you will not be assigned to one provider, the ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to different provider preferences.
- We are looking for a strong team player who is wiling to jump in and help when they see a need.
- Previous experience with blood glucose meters and pumps is preferred but not required.
- Provides support for assigned providers.
- Completes patient care, patient education, prior authorizations, in basket messages,, prescription refills, and other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care
- Schedules emergent need patient appointments
- Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provides advice and recommendations, and inserts intravenous access with medication administration.
- Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
- Enters admission orders as directed by provider
- Manages expired samples.
- May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties or other office duties as needed
