Job SummaryThe Plumbing Engineer will provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of plumbing systems. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of market sectors, such as healthcare, academic, industrial, and commercial projects.
In This Role, You Will
- Design plumbing systems including medical/laboratory piping and gases
- * Design performance specification fire protection systems
- * Develop systems design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
- * Prepare detailed design documents
- * Write/edit project specifications
- * Be responsible for code compliance research
- * Coordinate work with other disciplines
- * Work on site surveys to determine and document existing conditions
- * Provide construction administration services
- * You have a minimum of 8 years design experience
- * You have LEED certification/experience is a plus, CPD is preferred
- * You have experience with laboratories/medical facilities design is preferred
- * Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- * Familiarity with codes, standards, and design guidelines
- * Excellent work ethic and attitude
- * Good communication and time management skills
