Salcito Custom Homes, Ltd. is one of the Valley's largest luxury custom home builders (www.salcito.com). We are currently seeking ​an accounting specialist in our North Scottsdale office who is a smart, responsible, and detailed individual who is teachable and can learn new concepts and processes quickly. This is an immediate opening.

This position will report to the CFO, and the primary responsibility will be preparing construction draw requests, which requires project cost and line item budget analysis, AIA document preparation, and preparing detailed reconciliations of contracted amounts with billed amounts. Secondary responsibilities include sales tax reporting support, and record management required for insurance, lien waivers, taxes, company fixed assets, and legal.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the capacity to perform the accounting functions needed to present monthly financial information to the CFO and owners of the company, as well as, use their skills to continually improve processes to become more efficient, which include adoption of new technology. Growth opportunities include increased responsibilities in financial reporting for Salcito Custom Homes, Ltd. and its affiliated companies.

Qualifications:

• Business degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields is preferred
• Fundamental knowledge of Quickbooks Desktop and/or Quickbooks Online (preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Construction knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This is an in-office position, and does not qualify for remote working environment. The office environment is in a Class A office space in a beautiful setting in North Scottsdale.
