PURPOSE
To improve student achievement by performing a variety of advanced journey level skilled work in the maintenance, construction and repair of buildings and equipment in trade areas requiring local or state licensing.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING :
- Knowledge of commercial kitchen and related equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend equipment schematics.
- Ability to use technology for word processing, spreadsheets, communication, the work-order database and other related applications and devices.
- Either a Limited Maintenance Electrical License (LME), Limited Journeyman Manufacturer Plant Electrician License (PJ) or General Journeyman Electrician. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Repair and maintenance of all commercial kitchen and related equipment.
- Coordinate, schedule and inspect the work of outside kitchen equipment repair contractors. Type : Classified Hours per day : 8 Number of days per year : 260 Status : Permanent Hourly Range : $31.
