Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining the organization of our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment

- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments

- Inspect packages for damages or defects

- Prepare shipping labels and documentation

- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory

- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse

- Operate reach trucks or other material handling equipment as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred

- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment

- Ability to operate a trucks or other material handling equipment safely

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
