We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Internship Coordinator to facilitate internship opportunities for high school students in partnership with local businesses and industry organizations. The Internship Coordinator will play a vital role in assisting students with internship site contact, selection, and placement, ensuring compliance with all Department of Labor (DOL) rules and regulations, and providing comprehensive support throughout the internship experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting students with meaningful workplace experiences and guiding them in their career development journey.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, human resources, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Previous experience working with high school students or young adults in an educational or career counseling capacity prefered but not required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, educators, and employers.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and internship sites.

- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of internship coordination and support.
