Job Description: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Salisbury, NC, 28144
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
- Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and conflict resolution
- Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and coaching
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
