Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Hair Salon Assistant! We're on the lookout for a meticulous and friendly individual to fill this crucial role. As a Hair Salon Assistant, you'll provide essential support to our stylists and ensure our clients receive top-notch service from the moment they walk in.

Responsibilities:

• Part-time position, room for growth in-salon, opportunities for continuing education
• Personally assist under the owner, Lisa.
• Salon Assistant to all stylists other days of the week (Laundry, Light chores, Assist with blowouts, Mixing Formula, etc.)
• Hourly Pay & Tips

Requirements:

• Must be in the process of getting (minimum of 350 hours) or have an active Cosmetology License
• Must work Saturdays
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must have reliable transportation

Please note that this is a part-time position with flexible hours, typically ranging from 10 to 20 hours per week. This schedule is perfect for students at local colleges like Oakland University or Oakland Community College, or individuals eager to kickstart their career in the hair industry. While we don't offer apprenticeship programs, we do provide a supportive and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valued.
