What You Will Do:

  1. Assist Executive Chef: Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to innovate and refine the culinary offerings, keeping our menus exciting and reflective of our unique brand.
  2. Kitchen Management: Oversee the kitchen’s daily workings, ensuring smooth operation, and high-quality food preparation.
  3. Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and compliance with recipes and plating guidelines.
  4. Staff Supervision: Direct and mentor kitchen staff, fostering an environment of learning and excellence.
  5. Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory and procure premium ingredients, mindful of seasonal availability and cost efficiency.
  6. Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold stringent hygiene and safety standards, adhering to regulatory requirements to guarantee a safe and professional kitchen environment.
  7. Culinary Expertise: Bring a high level of culinary skill and creativity to the team, contributing to recipe development and food presentation.
  8. Safety & Hygiene: Uphold and reinforce kitchen hygiene and safety protocols, following all regulatory compliances.

What You Will Need:

  • Proven expertise as a Sous Chef, with substantial experience in a reputable dining establishment.
  • A comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to translate ideas into menus and dishes.
  • Leadership qualities, with experience in team management and training.
  • Strong organizational skills, along with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences that align with our hotel’s luxury standards.
  • Professional culinary training and/or certifications are highly desirable.
