Salt & Palm Catering is a corporate catering company. We operate Monday - Friday for both breakfast and lunch. We prepare the food in a shared commercial kitchen and do drop off catering to local businesses. We pride ourselves in having high quality food, at a valued price, delivered by professional positive staff members.

Our business is growing rapidly and it is time to expand our team. We're looking to hire a Food Preparation and Delivery team member. Please see job requirements below.

Job Summary and Requirements:

• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen
• Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools, kitchen utensils and equipment
• Must be able to multi task
• Prepares and maintains proper temperature controls to health department standards
• Must be able to prioritize and organize the workload to effectively produce high quality products in a timely manner to ensure on time deliveries
• Works well in a fast paced envIronment
• Clean as you go ( maintain work area, run dishes through dish water, return items to proper storage areas )
• Prepare cold food items for orders ( sandwiches, salads, fruit, desserts )
• Wrap & box prepared items for delivery
• Good physical condition & endurance ( able to lift up to 50lbs )
• Comfortable delivering & communicating with business clients
• Quickly & efficiently setting up orders in the clients work place

Must Have:

• Working knowledge of Commercial kitchen & food prep
• Current Servsafe certification
• Good Driving Record & insured
• 2 professional references
• 2 personal references
• A happy, outgoing personality to represent Salt & Palm Catering

• Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
