Saluda Medical is Hiring a Senior Product Manager - Upstream Marketing Near Bloomington, MN

The Senior Product Manager will help in defining new product opportunities and lead the transformation of newly approved product opportunities/concepts through the development process to regulatory submission and commercialization. The position will represent Marketing in cross-functional core teams, lead global product commercialization as well as supporting new products in the clinical trial setting. Responsibilities:
Lead the development of value propositions, business plans, customer needs and user
requirements for new Therapy Development products entering the product pipeline
Lead the development of recommendations for technical product direction, including design
trade-offs to ensure voice of the customer (VOC) throughout the product development process
Initiate marketing plans, pricing strategies, branding/naming and development of product
positioning and messaging in close collaboration with Global Downstream Marketing.
Keep abreast of all competitive product introductions, positioning, pricing strategies, and field
tactics as it relates to our portfolio and pipeline to help inform strategic direction
Stay well informed regarding product issues in the field to help determine needs for product
changes or enhancements Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, science or health-related field
MBA preferred
An accomplished marketing professional with more than 5 years of experience in the
implantable, medical device industry that includes robust upstream marketing experience. Neuromodulation experience is preferred. Experience in both hardware and software product development highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in leading new product introductions, including product opportunity
assessments through to launch planning and execution, preferably into a high-growth and Highly Competitive Markets. Global Experience Preferred.
Knowledge of FDA and other regulations around marketing activities
Knowledge of working with quality systems and legal/regulatory parameters to deploy
marketing materials
Self-motivated and independent work style with the ability to initiate and follow through on
assignments
Self-assured, knowledgeable professional capable of developing good interpersonal
relationships with medical professionals
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent presentation skills with ability to convey complex information effectively to
Senior Staff
Strong customer service orientation
Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work
