About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role offers the chance to elevate Salvi & Maher's market presence, enhance client relationships, and drive innovative growth across the field. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, ready to contribute to our forward-thinking leadership team.

Essential Functions

The Business Development Specialist will be integral to our business development efforts, focusing on expanding our market presence and fostering relationships with clients and business parties. This role will be based in our Libertyville, Illinois office, with responsibilities that span across all our locations and client service regions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the firm's objectives.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to enhance the firm's market presence.
  • Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and business partners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and maintain the firm's client and business database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare and present custom reports and analyses to support business development initiatives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and business partners, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Coordinate with our marketing team and partners to ensure synergistic communications.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services organization, preferably.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies and market research.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
  • Experience with client relationship management and data analysis.
