We seek a **Per Diem Pharmacy Technician** to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

**Hours:** This role is Per Diem; will be working as needed only; will be working mainly at home site when needed but will also need to cover other sites as business needs arise (other sites may be up to 30 - 45 minutes away)

**Location:** 8989 HURON ST THORNTON, CO STE 204 THORNTON, CO 80260 (home site)

**Primary Responsibilities:**

Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff

Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist

Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies

Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders

Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records

Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements

Performs various clerical duties relating to the department

Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills

Will be required to process and prepare prescriptions to be shipped to both consumers and facilities

Other duties as assigned

Will be required to make occasional deliveries if needed (would be less than 10% of the time, would have access to company vehicle for delivery making)

Will be required to cover other sites as business needs arise (other sites may be up to 30 - 45 minutes away)

**Required Qualifications:**

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or Pharmacy Technician Trainee license in the state of Colorado OR ability to obtain within 60 days of employment

Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license

Ability to work per diem (as needed only) as well as to cover other sites aside from home site as business needs arise

**Preferred Qualifications:**

National Pharmacy Technician Certification

Previous pharmacy technician experience

**Colorado Residents Only:** The hourly range for Colorado residents is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
