Our FacilityLocated in Clinton, NC, Sampson Regional Medical Center has served its community since 1950 and is now one of only a handful of independent, community-based hospitals remaining in North Carolina. The healthcare facility serves as an academic training center for medical students, interns, and residents. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the system offers a range of medical services including acute care, outpatient surgery, emergency and critical care, and women's health and children's services. Specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics & gynecology, and urology. The system provides valuable outpatient services such as physical therapy and diagnostic imaging in state-of-the-art centers, home health, a premier Health Wellness Center, and a network of physician practices that include primary care, women's health, general surgery, pain management, and urgent care.

- Sampson Women s Center is located directly beside main hospital
- Combined daily patient volume of 25-35
- Average of 27 deliveries monthly w/ a monthly average of 11 C-Sections
- 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms
- Nursery is Level 1; Critical newborns are transferred west to Fayetteville (30 miles) or southeast to Wilmington (60 miles)
- Shared Call; Expectation of 7 days/month including 1 required weekend
- Strong hospitalist team with excellent leadership
- 24/7 on-call anesthesiology and radiology support
- Wide scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care and Urology
