Description
Samson, the worldwide leader in high performance cordage, is seeking a Safety Coordinator who will ensure that the facility complies with federal, state, local, DOSH and company safety, health and environmental regulations. Responsible for practicing a high level of business ethics and professionalism and adhering to safety and quality guidelines in support of Samson strategy and core values.
Who You Are :
- Committed to safety and knowledgeable of OSHA compliance, ISO regulations, and state health and safety regulations.
- Able to take quick action to rectify safety concerns.
- Interested in fostering and developing team relationships.
- Organized and able to build, maintain, and prioritize schedules and deadlines.
- Clear communicator in oral and written forms.
- Detail-oriented and able to balance many tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledgeable about machines and their operating conditions.
- Proficient in computer skills and experienced with Microsoft Office, with ability to learn new programs.
- Analytical and numbers driven.

Targeted Hiring Wage : $58,700 - $62,000
Hiring rate will depend on qualifications and experience.
Samson has established wage scales for all of our positions, which are based on a minimum and maximum. The targeted hiring rate above is set to allow for employee's growth within the role. The full range for this position is $52,000 (min) - $76,000 (max) annually.
