This excellent career opportunity will hold the lead responsibility for the development of energy audits and performance contracts by assisting assigned staff Engineers and Project Managers with developing design concepts for energy conservation measures by identifying, assessing, and structuring technical and financial solutions to meet customer objectives. The Engineer will identify, qualify, and quantify energy conservation measures (ECMs) associated with HVAC, EMS, building envelope, and heating and cooling systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to site investigations, utility analysis, performing energy savings calculations, designing HVAC, EMS and Central Plant system retrofits, developing cost estimates and written descriptions of energy conservation measures in support of technical audits and EPC proposals. The Engineer will use industry-standard software such as Carrier HAP, Microsoft Excel and various manufacturers’ selection software programs in the development of mechanical designs and energy calculations. The Senior Engineer will also direct and develop junior engineers, who will assist, in the design of mechanical systems and the development of investment grade audits.
