The Role:

San Blas Capital Markets is in search of a Director of InstitutionalSales to be a leader on our team in executing transactions that drive value to clients. A Director at San Blas Capital Markets will manage clients and work alongside our trading desk and operational support staff to deliver unique opportunities to clients. A Director, in addition to running their own book of business is expected to operate in a collaborative manor with the team. 

Responsibilities Include:

Prospect and develop new client relationships

Develop and execute a structed sales plan which targets originating new business and managing existing relationships

Manages clearing and execution accounts to ensure the satisfaction of the client relationship

Maintain accurate records pertaining to your book of business and formulate daily reports which includes daily PNL, risk, revenue, and ROIC

Maintain leads, opportunities and book of business within our CRM

Continually asses clients’ financial conditions and keep relevant information in support of such conditions on file

Understand San Blas’ products and service offerings to identify sales opportunities

Understand of San Blas’ internal platforms utilized in regular course of business

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business or related field

5 years of relevant sales experience and demonstrates mastery of sales and trading knowledge

Manages a current book of business (annual production exceeding $250,000 in gross commission)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Excellent organizational skills and ability to run multiple processes concurrently

Compensation:

We offer above industry standard commission payouts ranging from 50% to 92.5% depending on the business line and production levels.
