The Role:

San Blas Capital Markets is in search of a Managing Director of Investment Banking to be a leader on our team in orchestrating financial transactions of all complexities. A Managing Director at San Blas Capital Markets will manage clients through the entire lifecycle and build lasting relationships. A Managing Director, in addition to running their own transaction processes is expected to operate in a collaborative manor with the team. We can support most investment banking businesses, and are always looking to expand our already diverse service offerings. We are particularly interested in the following practice areas:

Mergers and Acquisitions

Equity and Debt Private Placements

IPOs and Secondaries (Nasdaq and NYSE)

Industry Experience of Interest:

Responsibilities Include:

-Manage intricate financial transactions from client origination through successful completion of engagement

-Provide the highest quality strategic financial guidance backed by deep understanding of current market environment

-Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams within San Blas to achieve firm wide success

-Mentor and support the professional growth of our up-and-coming talent

-Demonstrate mastery of operating within the constantly evolving regulatory environment

Qualifications:

-A proven track record with 7 years in investment banking

-Demonstrated success with prior clients and displayed robust network of investors

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

-Strong leadership skills

-Finra Series 79 and 63 Preferred

Compensation:

We are offering above industry standard commission payouts (ranging from 50% to 92.5% depending on the business line and production levels) for this role.

This is not a salaried position. We are only offering salaried positions internally to our current rep base and for larger groups/teams until our next planned hiring round in December.
