Primary Purpose:
Oversees the development and implementation of SDG&E's commercial portfolio strategy, including commercial negotiations, solicitations, advocacy, and policy design. Leads commercial efforts to develop the design of the Electric & Fuel Procurement (E&FP) energy supply portfolio while partnering with policy and modeling groups. Guides the long-term procurement strategy including meeting procurement compliance obligations, optimization activities and forward-looking planning efforts. Challenges the status quo, influence others and help lead the organization through change. Leads all competitive procurement of resources beyond one year to fulfill SDG&E's energy and resource capacity needs, including resource adequacy. Actively participate in SDG&E's resource planning and development of long-term planning and portfolio construction. Foster strategic execution and commercial acumen within the team.

HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 2-3 days per week.Note: SDG&E strives to ensure that employees are paid equitably and competitively. Starting salaries may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and education.
