Job Summary

Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources plans, organizes, and administers a comprehensive personnel management program for certificated and classified personnel functions, including employment, employee and labor relations, discipline and personnel records; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff and provides guidance on personnel-related legal matters and best practices.


Requirements / Qualifications

  • A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience and a minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible and successful experience in school administration, preferably in a middle school or high school setting.
  • Extensive experience in managing personnel programs and in dealing effectively with people at all levels.
  • A master's degree or higher.
  • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or Certification of Eligibility for Administrative Credential.
  • A valid California Teaching Credential.

Salary

$158,888 to $181,548 (To start yearly based on full-time assignment. Part-time assignments will be prorated)

  • Pay dependent on experience
  • Candidates with two or more years of full-time K-12 public school experience start on step 3.
