San Joaquin Winery is Hiring a Tasting Room Staff Near Madera, CA
San Joaquin Winery is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to fill our Tasting Room position. Tasting room associate is responsible for the sale of wine, provide assistance with cleaning and set-up/break down of winery events. This position requires weekend availability. MUST BE 21
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Greet all visitors with enthusiasm & pour wine for tastings
- Being able to provide wine knowledge to guests
- Effectively suggest and sell wine
- Assist with events as needed
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the facility
- Set Up/Break down of events
Required Skills
- Excellent Customer service skills
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Being a team player
- Wine knowledge is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
Shift:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
Weekly day range:
- Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
