Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $66,560 - $72,000 per year

Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Position Overview:

The Project Manager, Premium Sales & Service position functions primarily as a part of the Premium Sales & Service team while also supporting Global Partnerships periodically. The key responsibility of this position is to support departmental initiatives across all products lines including suites, Penthouse Lounge, and single game rentals. The Project Manager is expected to work closely with other functional departments that include Partnerships, Foundation, Community Relations, and Ticket Sales & Service in developing and executing all Premium initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interface with key internal team members to ensure collaborative communication between Premium Sales & Service and other functional units.
  • Lead Suite Holder, Penthouse Lounge member and Global Partnerships event programming by booking venues, creating a 12-month calendar, and developing a communication plan with members on necessary details.
  • Support Premium & Global Partnership leadership with their event needs, ranging from employee activities to influencers for prospective or existing customers.
  • Support Premium Sales & Service and Global Partnerships departments with event day needs.
  • Create reporting for staff on relevant projects, including sales contests and others as assigned.
  • Fulfill annual merchandise and gifting needs that include but are not limited to Suite Holder annual gift, Penthouse Lounge gift, Special Event gifts, and promo gifts, creating a 12-month calendar for fulfillment dates and execution.
  • Execute all Building email needs for booked Premium hospitality.
  • Fulfill communication and mailing needs of gifts to Premium members.
  • Manage Personality bookings for Premium and Partnerships Special Events.
  • Provide superior customer service to all clients and fans.
  • Knowledgeable on all relevant tools like CRM, VenueOps and Archtics.
  • Responsible for event day Premium Suite and Penthouse Lounge reporting for the purposes of staffing, budgeting, Aramark and building responsibilities.
  • Assist in copy writing and creative support for Premium Sales & Service communication.
  • Assist on Sharks event days/nights at SAP Center as needed.
  • Support Global Partnerships on occasional special projects as needed.
  • Participate as a team member through meetings and informal support to other team members and support staff, to maximize customer service and sales performance.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as requested.

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in sports & entertainment related to ticket sales Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business, marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of experience and/or education
  • Track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously, with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain smooth working relationships with the ticket sales department, as well as other employees and constituencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with CRM software and Archtics a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, detail oriented, strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to consistently portray a positive and enthusiastic approach to clients and potential clients
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Archtics ticketing system and CRM software a plus.
  • It is imperative that you have the ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills, as well as ability to manage your own time and implement your own schedule.
  • Understanding that, as a client-facing position, you are required to be at events that primarily take place on nights and sometimes on weekends in order to service clients or potential clients.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time
  • Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice)
  • May be required to travel to other company locations
  • May be required to attend conference, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in- or out-of-state locations.
