Description:
Welcome and greet all guests upon arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes. Maintain the flow of the restaurant so as to not overwhelm any given area and the guest experience is not compromised. To thank every guest as they depart.
RESPONSIBILITES
•Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
•When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the
restaurant
•Effectively work the computerized seating and reservation system and
provide guests with an estimated waiting time
•Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
•Seat guest guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer
•Answer phones with correct phone greeting and direct calls to the
appropriate person or take messages
•Maintain the cleanliness of the Host station and front entry of the restaurant
•Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
•Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
•Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
•Excellent verbal communication skills
•Requires a self-motivated, energetic and positive attitude
•Ability to manage a table management system
•Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
•Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
