SANDALWOOD MANAGEMENT is Hiring a Yardi System Administrator Near Austin, TX

We are seeking a Yardi systems administrator to assist in the training and development of on-site staff focusing on Yardi property management software. A successful candidate will exhibit proficient knowledge with various functions within Yardi and have excellent written and verbal abilities to confer knowledge onto others.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Train and coach new and existing employees on workflows and procedures related to YARDI property management software systems via in person, telephone, and webinar sessions.
  • Provide support of Yardi Voyager and Yardi’s RentCafé platform with an emphasis on core residential and financial modules as they relate to onsite property operations. This includes but is not limited to Payment Processing, Invoice payments and the Resident Screening workflow
  • Become knowledgeable with company-specific property management and accounting business processes and needs; continually look for ways to leverage Yardi’s capabilities to improve efficiency through workflow, automation, and process improvement.
  • Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as onboarding training, on-the-job training, accounting procedures training and refresher training.
  • Mentor new and developing employees to be self-reliant, accurate users of Yardi.
  • Create follow-up Yardi Voyager and RentCafé training for all on-site employees, including relevant maintenance staff.
  • Assists in the development of curriculum, training plans and training rollout of all software platforms used by Yardi.
  • Monitors, Prepares, and maintains training status reports as requested using Aspire Training
  • Work with Regional Managers to identify remedial Yardi training needs for groups and individuals.
  • Work with Regional Managers to provide ongoing Yardi coaching and mentoring as required
  • Train/coach new and existing employees on leasing performance related to telephone and onsite tours ensuring Sandalwood requirements and Fair Housing standards are being met.

Non-Essential Job Functions:

  • Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements and patch updates
  • Creates and maintains communication plans related to training activities
  • Consults with executive team to confirm software/training objectives, instructional procedures, and any risks/constraints in the planning and implementation of those objectives
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands on Yardi expertise (required)
  • Adobe Acrobat DC (preferred)
  • Office 365 (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Public speaking and instructional training experience
  • Proficiency in learning and development preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar Office based software
  • Multi-tasking Skills: Ability to juggle workload and activities across several properties with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Ability to travel
  • Experience and knowledge with Tax Credit Properties preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Commensurate with experience up to $90,000 - $110,00 per year
