Job Overview:

Sandhus Nutrition is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager of Quality Assurance to lead and manage all aspects of our dietary supplement product lifecycle. This role involves providing technical leadership, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements, managing raw material and finished product specifications, and overseeing regulatory audits and certification programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and communication internally and with selective external vendors.
• Lead dietary supplement product lifecycle from raw material selection, and product formula conception to finished product SKUs.
• Plan and support new product development and related documentation. 
• Develop and approve raw material and finished product specifications.
• Develop and approve finished product stability programs.
• Develop and approve finished product supplement fact and label specifications.
• Provide editorial evaluation, interpretation, and review of content writing or scientific literature for product health claims/benefits, dosing specifications, and best ingredient forms.
• Support and facilitate ingredient and finished product testing with third-party laboratories.
• Manage and maintain raw material vendor and contact laboratories qualification programs.
• Provide, review, and approval of Master Manufacturing Record and Batch Master Record.
• Ensure cGMP requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are followed.
• Host and manage regulatory audits and certification programs.
• Perform other job duties as needed to align with the company’s strategies and goals.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of Quality & Regulatory leadership experience in an FDA-regulated industry.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science field.
• Working knowledge of cGMPs, under 21 CFR Part 110, 111, and/or 117 (Dietary Supplement experience is required).
• Capable of developing and implementing a reliable Quality Management System.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
