Positions: Mental Health Therapist

Location: Buffalo Grove, Illinois 

Job Type: Full Time 

Salary Range: $60,000 - $74,000

Licensure Requirements:  Illinois clinical (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) or provisional (LPC, LSW, ALMFT) licensure. If you are licensed in another state, you must be able to transfer your license to Illinois before your start date.

About The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Mental Health Professional. In this role, you will work closely with our clients, providing them with individualized and holistic care that addresses their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will help them heal from their wounds, cope with their difficulties, and discover their strengths and passions.

As a Mental Health Professional, you will be part of a comprehensive program that offers:

  • Individual therapy: You will conduct one-on-one sessions with clients, using evidence-based techniques to help them understand and change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
  • Group therapy: You will facilitate group sessions with clients, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can share their experiences, learn from each other, and build positive relationships.
  • Family therapy/support: You will involve the families of clients in the treatment process, providing them with education, counseling, and resources to help them support their loved ones and cope with their own challenges.

Qualifications: 

  • You have a clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) or a provisional license (LPC, LSW, ALMFT) that allows you to practice therapy in Illinois. 
  • You have 2 years of proven experience in treating substance abuse disorders.
  • You are skilled in using evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to address your clients’ needs and goals.
  • You have strong documentation skills that ensure accurate and timely records of your clients’ progress and outcomes.
  • You have a background in working in a detox or residential setting where you provided intensive and comprehensive care.
  • You have a master's degree in a relevant field.
