Experienced RNs come join the Solutions By Sanford team!

We are looking for RN's with at least two years of experience and at least one year of travel experience to join our team. You must live at least 60 miles from the location you are applying for. You will be paid weekly, your stipend is included in the weekly pay rate. You will also be eligible for Sanford Benefits. Contracts are 13 weeks with the option to extend or go to another Sanford site!

Comprehensive Care for Women and Children: The Women's & Children's Department is a 33-bed unit offering specialized care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond, as well as pediatric and gynecologic care. Our unit includes dedicated areas for Triage, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Pediatric/GYN, and a Special Care Nursery, ensuring comprehensive care for patients of all ages and needs.

Expert Obstetric Care: We provide expert obstetric care for women with pregnancies ranging from low to high risk. Our team is experienced in managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and substance abuse, offering personalized care and support throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery.

Pediatric and Adolescent Services: Our unit offers specialized pediatric and adolescent services for a variety of common diagnoses, including RSV, asthma, jaundice, appendectomy, broken bones, cellulitis, and behavioral health issues. We provide compassionate care tailored to the unique needs of young patients and their families.

Special Care Nursery: Our Special Care Nursery provides advanced care for newborns who require additional support, including CPAP, high-flow oxygen, antibiotic therapy, hypoglycemia management, and management of withdrawal symptoms. We are equipped to stabilize and transfer babies born before 34 weeks gestation or those born at or after 34 weeks who require a higher level of care.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
