Sales Manager - VOIP Supply (Buffalo NY Onsite)

VoIP Supply, a Sangoma company, seeks a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The Sales Manager will develop and execute sales strategies, manage the sales team, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of VoIP technology, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. They will lead a team that sells the entire range of company products and services. A Hardware Sales Manager must exhibit several key abilities, including, but not limited to, a background in selling solution technology, managing a team and effectively prospect identification strategies, conducting sales calls, and having a history of educating clients to achieve success.

Your Role:

  • Sales Strategy Development and Execution
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
  • Create and monitor sales forecasts and budgets, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure team members achieve their goals.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to motivate and guide the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and nurture potential partnerships and collaborations to expand the company's market reach.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve overall effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives.
  • Participate in developing and launching new products and services, providing sales input and feedback.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and services.
Your Background:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the VoIP or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of VoIP technology and its applications.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and GSuite.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive for success.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
