Job Purpose:
The New Process Developer will be at the technical forefront of building some of the most complex PCB’s in the world. This includes developing, ramping, sustaining and cost-optimizing new and existing products and methods in close cooperation with our key customers and the Sanmina Engineering team.
Nature of Duties:
Identify and develop process limits, process instructions, operator instructions, set-up requirements, procedures, process parameters, and continuous improvement projects
Utilize structured problem-solving techniques and develop a culture of strong engineering discipline through the use of advanced quality tools such as 8D, FMEAs, DOEs, DMAIC and SPC.
Work effectively with the equipment and material suppliers to identify opportunities to improve yields and capability through new techniques, equipment upgrades and cutting edge technology investments.
Support, augment and work seamlessly with the manufacturing team and cross functional peers within the plant and sister manufacturing sites
Participate in the development of intellectual property
Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, time, and cost. This includes developing and maintaining project plans with clients and stakeholders, and managing changes to the product
Coordinate between teams and ensure they communicate through the process. This may involve leading cross-functional teams and managing groups of engineers.
Set standards for quality control driving qualification activities through to issues in the quality control department
Identify and manage project risks to eliminate or mitigate them
Participate in meetings and correspond with clients to ensure timelines and issued actions plans are followed up on in a timely manner
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years related experience.
• Strong computer skills to include MS Word, Project, Excel and Outlook.
• Solid written/verbal business communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both technical and non technical concepts to both technical and non technical professionals.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability/willingness to multi task and thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented

Salary Range(annual): $98,000 to $115,000
In addition, Sanmina Provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
