The Aircraft Segment is seeking a Customer Facing Program Manager for our Aircraft Department who is responsible for all aspects of a program, serving as the site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer needs are met. Consist of high value production programs. Constant interface with Engineering, Contracts and customer management. Full exposure to program EACs, scheduling and budgeting aspects of Program Management.

We are currently searching for a highly qualified individual for the following position, based in Huntsville, AL.

Position Title: Program Manager

• Working independently, manages all aspects of a program from inception through final delivery of product. Resolves problems, escalating as necessary, and makes recommendations and occasional decisions regarding pricing, schedules, commit dates, etc.
• Program management also emphasizes the coordinating and prioritizing of resources, managing links between the program and the overall costs and risks of the program
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships
• Responsible for all program aspects and ensures program-related decisions are guided by the terms and conditions of the customer’s contract
• Responsible for customer management and satisfaction, order management and delivery, revenue achievement, business issue resolution (A/R, EO material issues, PPV, credit, RMA’s), and business development
• Develop and maintain business relationships with customers and cultivate relationships that establish SCI’s consultative approach and promote its total solution capabilities within customers’ and potential customer’s organizations
• Understand Sanmina and SCI Technology, Inc. offerings for vertical integration and directs customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Sanmina-SCI products or services
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Minimum of 2 years program/project management experience 
• The ideal candidate will have a strong, “hands on” program management experience with highly technical, detailed programs requiring stringent reporting requirements
• Strong business acumen developed through a combination of education and experience
• Should be able to demonstrate relationship building skills and be comfortable interacting with professionals at all organizational levels
• Solid negotiation skills are required for interaction with both customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to be persuasive, while at the same time providing a win/win flavor to all dealings
• Availability for travel domestically as needed
