GENERAL SUMMARY (Describe the overall duties and responsibilities of the job) :

1.Responsible for crib maintenance, supplies and 5S.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties required for successful job performance) :

1.Responsible for ensuring appropriate crib supply levels are maintained by entering all parts into the inventory control system and ordering needed supplies by issuing purchase orders, contacting suppliers and / or vendors and receiving supplies upon delivery. 40%

2.Maintains crib organization and 5S by ensuring all supplies are properly placed in their designated area upon receipt. 40%

3.Miscellaneous tasks and projects as needed including working with production to ensure the necessary supplies are ordered and maintained. 5%

4.Read, understand and adhere to all job instructions for any production process for which the associate has been qualified on or is trained on (for example, hazardous waste / material handling procedures ) 5%

5.Continuously monitor and compare pricing of crib items to ensure that we are getting the best prices for what we order. 5%

6.Deliver and / or pick up parts / components for the maintenance and engineering department. 5%

1. Responsible for ensuring appropriate crib supply levels are maintained Holding adequate crib supply is essential to ensure the company is operating efficiently.

Failure to maintain the appropriate supply levels could result in higher costs, loss of production and / or the inability to maintain and / or operate the facility.

2. Maintains crib organization and 5S by ensuring all supplies are properly placed in their designated area upon receipt Failure to maintain an organized and labeled crib could result in the company operating inefficiently due to the loss of time trying to locate supplies.

1.This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

2.This position does not have any direct reports.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Describe the environment within which the work is performed).

1.Crib Office (30%) and Crib / Floor (70%) environment.

2.Occasional travel, typically day trips

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.Able to travel within the manufacturing area via main aisle ways with periodic entry to tight spaces for detail equipment review.

2.Full range of motion including the ability bend, stoop, lift up to 30 lbs and push up to 50 lbs.
