Job Description
The Registered Nurse Specialist will be working in the specified department with other healthcare professionals. The job duties will include triaging phone calls, patient education, acting as the clinical guide for MA's, occasionally working with a provider and ensuring patient care standards are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have a valid license in the State of California as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or dually certified in both AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support and AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support at time of hire is required and non negotiable.
• Current CPR certification at time of hire is required. In addition to CPR, ACLS is required at time of hire in the following areas: Cardiology, GI Lab, Urgent Care and Outpatient Surgery (OPS). In addition to CPR PALS will be required in Pediatrics and Urgent Care.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Extra certifications pertaining to the field of specialty preferable but not required.
• New graduates are welcome, however, a minimum of one (1) or two (2) years recent acute care or ambulatory care experience as an RN is preferred or experience in specific specialty.
