Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our dental office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Dentrix software
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- 1-2 years previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Receptionist required
- Proficient in using office phone systems and Dentrix
- Knowledge of dental coding is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to learn
