Job Summary:
Crossroads Hyundai, a reputable automotive dealership located in Loveland, Colorado, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Title Clerk Automotive. This is a full-time administrative position within the automotive industry, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles. This role will report to the dealership's Business Manager and will work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Title Clerk Automotive position at Crossroads Hyundai offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $55,000 per year, with weekly payment. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Process vehicle titles for sales and trade-ins, ensuring all necessary documents are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner to the appropriate agencies
- Review and reconcile vehicle purchase records, sales invoices, and trade-in agreements
- Interact with various departments within the dealership, including sales, service, and accounting, to obtain necessary information for title processing
- Maintain accurate and organized title files for all vehicles in inventory
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding vehicle titles, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Stay up-to-date on state and federal regulations related to titling and registration of vehicles
- Work closely with lenders to ensure timely completion and submission of title documents for financed vehicles
- Process vehicle registration renewals and temporary permits as needed
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Previous experience in automotive title work is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of state-specific vehicle titling and registration processes
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with various computer software programs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
