The Executive Director (ED) of Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SM) is responsible for the overall strategic, operational and financial management of the organization. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the ED collaborates with the BOD, staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners to fulfill the organization’s mission.

Leadership and Management:

• Provide vision and leadership to ensure the continued growth and success of Santa Maria Urban Ministry.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture and work environment to motivate, maintain and attract dedicated staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with operations manager to oversee programs and staff and volunteer support.
• Serve as a primary spokesperson and advocate for the organization.
• Develop and execute comprehensive donor engagement and fundraising efforts.

Program Development and Implementation:

• Collaborate with staff and partners to oversee design, marketing, promotion, volunteer support for delivery of quality programs and services.
• Evaluate and assess the impact and potential for programs and services, using data to drive improvements and innovations.
• Ensure programs are aligned with the organization's mission and strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

Passion about the mission of Santa Maria Urban Ministry and a commitment to collaborate with partners, fight hunger in the community and help others. A high level of integrity, transparency, and accountability. Spanish/English bilingualism strongly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
