About The Team
The IT Infrastructure Team as part of the Global Procurement Organization and provides excellent business partnering our internal and external stakeholders. It defines and execute in close collaboration with business owners, corporate legal, finance and controlling the global sourcing strategies and supplier management.

The Role 

We are looking for a Category Manager for Paas / IaaS Infrastructure within Global Procurement. In this role you will manage the global procurement of SAP own managed Cloud infrastructures (IaaS) and part of the Public Cloud managed infrastructures (PaaS) landscapes.

As a trusted business value enabler for key stakeholders you will be responsible for supplier management and sourcing strategies as well as strategic sourcing events. You will look for opportunities for improvements, innovations, and savings and perform market analysis and benchmarking to gain market intelligence. 

Role Requirements 

We are looking for people with solid stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills who are able to establish clear priorities and manage multiple demands in a virtual, international environment. 

You should have several years’ experience in strategic and tactical procurement within indirect or direct procurement environments, ideally within a multinational environment. You should have a strong background in Paas / Iaas Infrastructure environments and related businesses.
